Winter Craft

IMG_1730 While we were trying to endure yet another snow/ice storm that paralyzed the school system, the boys and I decided to make the most of it and make Valentine’s for all of their friends.  It turned out to be a great project.

IMG_1816 We had an assortment of recycled crayons.  I decided to sort them by color in hopes to make them a little more “pretty”.

IMG_1818 The boy’s loved putting the broken crayons in the baking pan.

We put them in the oven at 300 for about 12 minutes.

IMG_1831 Voila!!!!

IMG_1837 I love how they turned out and so did the boys.  They are so proud!!!

By the parties on Thursday, we will turn them into this!

I also took a little break from the kiddo’s to take a very quiet walk downtown.  This is what I cam back with!  It was beautiful.
