I channel Dorothea Lang for art and beauty for the sake of social justice and political reform and Martha Stewart for art and beauty for the sake of “good things.” Throw in a little Julia Child and now you have entered the depths of my psyche. “Crazy on a Good Day” is an [...]

Lego Party
One of my favorite things to do each year with the boys is work with them to plan and throw their own unique birthday party. I work with the boys to figure out what "they are in to" and we make the whole event to reflect this theme.
1…. “You and I”
Gaga did not disappoint!!!! It was amazing. I loved the music, the production, and most of all I *heart* Lady Gaga. We started the evening with a new restaurant. Again, it exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Law Man gave me amazing tickets….3rd row… just high enough above the general admission that we had [...]

Happy April Fool’s Day!
I love April Fool’s Day. I like it for a lot of reasons. First of all it is the only day of the year I don’t have to feel too bad for my extreme sarcasm. I also like it because it is the first day of April….my birthday month. But, my love for this random [...]

Blooms
The snow has melted and the sun has come out. The trees and flowers got the memo and it is very welcome here at our home. I cannot believe that this weekend is Easter. This is the first year in nearly 7 years I have not hosted and this is what we have….bulbs in bloom. [...]
