This was also one of my all time great Christmas. I think there were two NM Christmas so I may be confusing them. They were both great. Mom and Dad were about the same age I am now. How strange. I think this was my first time out to the cabin. So many wonderful memories. Great story about the church. I may be wrong on the snow storms but I think this is when we drove home through the panhandle and got stranded in Boise City. The Baptist church gave us refuge. It's a long tale but we ended up in the choir dressing room. We brought in scotch, cards and I cracked the window so I could smoke. We were lucky we were not struck down.

Amy, How fun to see these pictures of your mom and dad looking like I remember them when we first met. I have 2 favorite Christmases. Christmas 1971 - our rehearsal dinner on Christmas night. John's family came and we spent the day preparing the meal for the wedding party. How cruel to get married on Dec. 26th! Mother forgave me. Then there was Christmas 1979. Elliott was born early that morning. You would think it would have been a lonely day in the hospital, but EVERYONE came to meet Elliott. His Christmas birthday led to an annual Christmas cookie decorating party that Tracy will likely remember. Great memories. Thanks for sharing yours. Gail

Oh WOW! Congrats to Mary:) You all are making such memories as your families grow. Makes me more than a little sad that we have so little family in town... I love how you all get together and make family THE most important thing!
